Name: Katoma Seiraryu Mundara ( Arad Num Amotak )

Alias: "Ryuu no Tasogare" (Dragon of Twilight)

Race: Shinigami (Lesser Noble House of Seireitei)

Position: Head of Squad 3 (I could be Squad 1 but meh).

Abilities: Kidou Knowledge, Shikai (x2), Bankai (x2).

Weapons: One Zanpakuto At any time, changes with emotion into a different Zanpakuto.

Shikai (Lenina): Creates a Barrier Around Katoma for a minute long period, draining Reiatsu slowly to fuel it. While barrier's up, he cannot attack or be attacked, basically a lesser form of negacion field. Katoma can end it at any time, but it drains more Reiatsu to do so since he has to break the Reiatsu holding together the barrier (which naturally dissolves anyhow). Sword Becomes Pure White and Resembles a Medieval Broad Sword, includes Embroidery of a beautiful make.

Shikai (Otius): Forms into the shape of Katars (Daggers worn on the back of the hand, similar to those used in .hack// TwinBlade Classes). The Katars are seeped in a powerful poison which can completely wreck the foe's senses. The Blades are constantly encased with Reiatsu so as to prevent them from breaking.

Bankai (Shinsei Lenina): A Dragon of Light appears on Katoma's shoulder, his sword disappearing. The Dragon produces a powerful spiritual force that seeps slowly into Katoma's being, slowly increasing the power of his Reiatsu, making him harder to kill and more dangerous with Kidou with every passing moment. Destroying the Dragon Breaks the effect.

Bankai (Shi Otius): Forms a black mist around all of the people in the surrounding area. The Mist Pounds the opponents with an endless assault of Reiatsu ment to completely distort the senses. Not only does the mist Blind while active, but it smells heavily of it's user (thus masking them), but it amplifies sounds to the point a person stepping will sound like it's coming from all around, like a person is omni present. This pounding of Sounds also distorts the sense of feel, as the human body is basically a massive ear. Taste is not a factor in this move.



Spirit Form: Lenina appears as a Beautiful Woman in a White gown, with ears resembling that of an Elf, having Long Silver-Blonde Hair, and Green eyes. Otius appears as a Normal Skinned woman in a pure black cloak, Red Eyes, black hair, and sometimes a weird Silver Snake Tail.

Story: The man known as Katoma in Soul Society, was not always just one man. Long ago, near the beginning of Feudal Era Japan, two men were fighting. Katoma Mundara, and his Life Long Rival, Arad Num Amotak. The Two were fighting for their lords, when they slain each other simultaneously. A Mysterious event occured that Soul Society could never explain themselves, in which the Two's Souls Came together and fused. This in result made the Katoma we know. When the Two Came together, Katoma's will surpressed Arad's, and the new Katoma was born into a Lesser Noble house of Seireitei.

His family had a Tradition of putting their children into the Shinigami School, and so he was put in. He quickly was found out to be a Specialist at Reiatsu control, especially when it came to Kidou. In Fact it was said he could bend Reiatsu to his own will if the need came, although Katoma never has shown such ability. Even before Completing the Academy, he learned to unleash his Shikai, but in doing so, awoke something far worse, his Dark Side, Arad.

Arad first awoke at that time, but became active when Katoma first Joined Squad 3 before Ichimaru's time. In that mission, a Hollow had appeared, and had figured out how to defeat Katoma's Barrier, knocking him done, killing his comrades in front of him as they tried to help him. Katoma's Rage went overboard, and Arad was awakened. In an instant, Arad's higher speed and physical ability proved to be too much for the Hollow. However Arad quickly lost control after the end, for his Will was still too weak.

Katoma and Arad ended up saving each other's necks a few times as such, as Arad sometimes found himself close to losing, so the Two Constantly Switched. Katoma never did reach high into the Ranks of Squad 3, even when Ichimaru took over. Years After the end of the War against Aizen, Katoma came forth to take over Ichimaru's old Position. Katoma had mastered his Bankai during the war, and as a result, so did Arad (since their Seperate Swords Spirits were related. If Lenina trusted Katoma, she pestered Otius to trust Arad, since he saved Katoma a lot). And thus explaining his eligibility.

Name: Akiyama, Seiichi

Hair Color: Dark Green

Eye Color: Light Green

Age: Technically 34 but died at the age of 23

Race: Soul

Weapon: Zanpakuto that is more curved than straight

Abilities: Swords name is Nikushimi and it means Hatred. Seiichi's main abilities are his own swordsman skills because he is at risk when using shikai. Has not learned bankai yet. No kido skills.

Shikai: The Zanpakuto enhances the hatred lying dormant in Seiichi's heart causing him to go crazy and attack everything with increased speed, strength and reflexes. He also gains the ability so send a wave of wind at his opponent with his sword. The shikai currently stand undefeated BUT has only been used 2 times because of the extreme aftereffects it leaves on Seiichi.

Bankai: Seiichi does not have this confirmed but several times in his dreams he sees himself with an aura of wind around him, cleaving his opponents in half with his sword . He thinks this is his bankai due to seeing it everytime he dreams and while he is in shikai.

Spirit Form: Semi-spikey dark brown hair and light brown eyes. Seiichi stands at about 6"2 with tanned skin. Hes not built.. just slightly cut. Looks as if he belongs in an office doing odd jobs.(You know.. the type that looks weak at first sight.) He seems to be a normal 23 year old.

Story: Seiichi was born by accident so his parents didnt really want him but his mother gave an effort to take care of him. His father said he didnt give a rats arse about Seiichi and frequently beat him simply for existing and causing him not be able to have sex with his girlfriend as much as he used to. After enduring 14 years of lethal beatings from his father, Seiichi decided to confront him and speak his mind. When Seiichi was done telling his dad off his dad replied, "Boy, if thats how you really feel then HIT ME!". And so Seiichi hit him causing him to get enraged. Takeshi (Seiichis dad) went into his room and came back with a gun and fired at Seiichi 3 times. Luckily the bullets didnt hit any vital points and Seiichi survived thanks to his mothers care. Takeshi left home that day.

9 Years later: Sayuri(Seiichis mom) died in a tragic accident. Seiichi couldnt find the will to live on without his mother who was the only person that ever cared for him in his life. After the funeral Seiichi was confessed to by his childhood friend Haruhi(Seiichi had a crush on her ever since they became friends) and he unknowingly accepted. They had sex that same night. A few months later Seiichi's boss said that he saw a man that looked similar to Seiichi. He thought to himself, "Dad? Nah, it couldnt be... could it?". That same night Haruhi was found dead in Seiichi's apartment with a note stuck to her forehead reading, "NOBODY LOVES YOU BOY. EVEN THIS GIRL ASKED TO BE KILLED BECAUSE SHE REGRETTED CONFESSING TO YOU AND DIDNT WANT TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS". When Seiichi turned around he saw a tall man that resembled him... it was Takeshi and he came to kill Seiichi. After firing several shots at Seiichi, Takeshi stopped and said.. I.. Hate.. You.. He then killed Seiichi and himself.

5 Years later: After getting used to his life in Rukongai with his new friends, a man appears to Seiichi in a white robe offering Seiichi power and showed him what happened after his death(His father killing himself after killing Seiichi). Seiichi's dormant hatred then awakened and he answered, "GIVE ME STRENGTH, theres someone I need to kill. . ." The man replied, "Yes... you're perfect for this power... that hatred you have for this 'someone'... its unbelievable!". And so the man gave Seiichi a sword and told him the swords name was Nikushimi and he should call its name to release its power. The man disappeared after giving Seiichi the sword.

3 Years later: Seiichi decieded to attempt to join the 13 Protection Squads of Seireitei to become stronger(He still hasnt released the sword once). One of the captains asked Seiichi, can you use your shikai yet? Seiichi replied, "...Yes". The captain asked Seiichi to show him and so Seiichi released his sword by calling its name - Nikushimi. The captain smiled and asked him how did he end up dead. Seiichi then remembered his father and Nikushimi responded to the hatred inside of him causing Seiichi to attack the captain mindlessly. When Seiichi regained consciousness he was in a bed surrounded by members of squad 4 and their captain. Seiichi asked, "what happened?" but got no answer. He figured nobody heard him and he went back to sleep because he was exhausted. The next day when Seiichi woke up he overheard some shinigami walking pass the room he was in saying, "Did you hear about the guy that went berserk and killed squad 9's captain?". Seiichi thought to himself, "I couldnt be the berserk guy... could I?" he then remembered how memories of his father made him attack the captain. Seiichi decided to leave Seireitei. On his way out squad 1's captain meet him at the entrance and told him that he was the new captain of squad 9 because he killed the previous one. Seiichi told him that he couldn't accept the offer because he is too much of a hazard.

3 Years later: Seiichi was walking aimlessly on the outskirts of Seireitei and found a man that looked like him. It was Takeshi. Takeshi said, "Of all the places to meet you...hmpf" Seiichi replied, "I could say the same to you old man". Takeshi got enraged when Seiichi called him old man and drew his sword(Takeshi had become a Shinigami). Seiichi released his sword for the second time and in a flash defeated his father.. Having fulfilled his goal in afterlife, Seiichi decides to find a place to settle down and start over. Ironically while travelling in Rukongai, Seiichi saw someone that looked like Sayuri wearing a black robe! Seiichi now roams Soul Society looking for that very person, the same person who gave him his Zanpakuto.

Katoma's post is to detail and well thought out and has great substance. Means he cybers with guys WAY too much. Loser!

Story of Character:

(It's a bit long and cheesy, but meh. I'm bored.)

Kuro was your average 15 year old boy. He lived in Kyoto, Japan. He had a particularly boring life, going to school, doing homework, and sitting at home. Nothing seemed to interest him anymore. One rainy morning, on his way to class, he let out a drawn out sigh. He wasn't sure what he would do with his life. It was all so boring... After he passed highschool, he'd go to boring college... And after that, he'd live a boring life with a boring job. Little did he know, that day was the most important in his life.

Upon arriving at class, his teacher announced a new transfer student. Kuro looked up , hardly interested, and his eyes widened. In front of him was the most beautiful girl he had ever met. She introduced herself to the class as Nawabe, Chika, and as she surveyed the students, her gaze stopped on Kuro. Her eyes narrowed, and she seemed to become lost in thought until the teacher urged her to her seat. He wondered what this meant with great interest.

After school, Kuro rushed to meet this girl. He found her walking home, and called to her. She turned, startled, and smiled and waved as she saw who he was. As he was about to engage her in conversation, the cellphone in her hand let out three low beeps. She flipped it open and her eyes widened in shock. Kuro looked over her shoulder to see what was wrong, but all he could see were several blips on what appeared to be some sort of map.

She snapped the cellphone closed, apologized, and ran off. Kuro stood there for a moment, confused. He had an impulse to dash after her, and, against his better judgement, did so.

He caught up to her, downtown, and what he saw there confused him. He saw Chika's body slumped on the ground, yet also saw her dressed in a black kimono, holding a katana, not far away. Nobody was around. He saw several shimmering forms approach her, and as they neared, their figure became clear. He saw eight gigantic, hideous beasts with white masks on their faces.

One of the beasts let out a horrific roar, and he found himself unable to move. Chika leapt into the air, cleaved down on one, cracking the mask, and was brushed away with a powerful backhand stroke. She hit the ground with a sickening crack, and seemed to dent the pavement. Kuro looked on in horror as they crowded around her,
taking turns pummeling her, laughing all the while. After about 20 minutes of punishment, one of them grabbing her around the waist. She looked up, sensing him, and had a look of pure fear on her face as her outstretched hands reached towards him. The hollow gave a look back, pointed at him, and vanished. All but one dissapeared, and this one slowly lumbered towards him. He couldn't move, and was soon beaten unconcious. When he awoke, he found a broken off chain attached to his chest, a man in a black kimono like the one Chika wore standing over his body. "It's okay now. I killed it. Here.. Let me help you." muttered the man, as he pressed the hilt of his blade onto Kuro's forehead. Kuro felt a warming sensation, and promptly fell unconcious.

Upon awakening, Kuro found himself in Rukongai. He spent four hideous years, trapped in his own pity and longing to save the woman he loved. He thought that she must be alive somewhere. He knew she was! He had to save her! Those beasts were keeping her prisoner! He knew not that she met her end as soon as she entered Hueco Mundo.

A few years later, he found himself in the Shinigami Academy. He scored very high, the second in his class, and a few more years later, he was a Shinigami of the Gotei 13. He was promptly placed in the 3rd squad. He became stronger, slowly rising through the ranks.

On the day he mastered his Bankai, taking ten years to perfect the art, and become as strong as he could, he left Seiretei in the night. A part of his mind still screamed at him that Chika was still alive, and that he must find her. He's still not sure how he wandered into Hueco Mundo, but when the deserts of Soul Society shifted into the endless night, and when strange, crystalline trees appeared, he knew he was where he wanted to be.

It's not exactly sure what happened to him in Hueco Mundo, but he was discovered at the edge of Rukongai, bloodied and severely injured, by a family of peasents, who raised him back to health. His memories were distorted, and all he remembered was a burning hatred of all Shinigami..

Name:Xjin Kazakura

Alias:Dodgen (pwnt lol)

Clothes: A black shinigami robe with blue trimmings instead of white.

Weapons worn:hiltless zanpakto (average size)

Abilities: very profficient in shunpo and high speed fighting and also able to release a special reiatsu that drops the surrounding temperature.

Zanpakto: Temnakuri

Shikai: Blade splits into two and drop to sub zero temperatures and the hilts turn white. He gains a boost in speed and the freezing cold of his blades slows down oppenents upon contact or if their reiatsu strength is lower than his merely by being in the same vicinity. he is also able to create a chain of ice by concentrating his reiatsu the ice chain is a very powerfull bind and causes damage through frostbite.

Bankai:He and the blades gain a blue reiatsu aura. Due to the increased release of his special reatsu the immediate area drops to freezing cold temperatures slowing oponents down and he gains an even more massive speed boost from the reiatsu putting more force into each of his shunpo steps. He gains two more attacks: Ice Realm and Heavenly Ice Chains. Ice realm completely freezes the sourrounding area and sky creating a near mirror like surface that shows distorted images of him nearly everywhere confusing the enemy and also pevents escape by creating massive walls of space at the end of the freeze radius (approx. 250 yards) Heavenly Ice Chains cAuses hundres of ice chains with spikes attatched to them to decend from the sky and attempt to skewer the enemy.

Kidou:Is profficient in low level attack kidou but rarely uses them

Spirit Form: The spirit form is constantly morphing between a small child dressed in a light blue shinigami robe and a demonic figure covered in blue fire.


Story(sorry guys but im too lazy to write a huge backstory):

Xjin died at the age of 17 after being hit by a Shinigami's byakura while fighting a hollow. The shinigami who killed him noticing latent reiatsu power got him into the shinigami academy as a token of apology. By the time he graduated the academy he had obtained a high level of shunpo and very good grasp of high speed fighting and had also discovered when he released large amounts of reiatsu the temperature dropped.

After serving in squad 9 for 75 years he obtained his shikai and won the rank of Vice Captain easily. and then 400 years later after ahieving bankai he defeated the captain of squad 9 and served there for 50 years.

Eventualy growing tired of his duties as captain and the lack of new challanges he could take as one he resigned from his post so that he could roam the realms as he wished.

I only see one contradictory statement:

1: If Reiatsu is outputed (released), that would INCREASE the kinetic energy of the world, thus making it HOTTER. Also you do not explain how LOSING your energy (Releasing your energy) would make you faster, or how it would slow down your opponent.

the decreased speed of oppenents would be caused by the temperature drop.
my increse in speed would be caused by more power behind my shunpo
and decreasing the temp with reiatsdu would work by it being a special kind of reiatsu being released ^.^ just like hitsuga can use his reiatsu to create ice dragon and wings and that neat trick rukia does with her shikai as well

Again:

1: Your Reiatsu would be being spend on not releasing, but absorbing energy.

2: maintaining the cold would suck up too much reiatsu for you to logically improve Shunpo.

3: Cold doesn't always decrease your opponent's speed. In fact some fight better in Cold

Thus far there's no use of logic behind this.

and if im absorbing energy then that would provide the extra energy to increase shunpo speed.

Actually bar things like Loony Toons, most animes have in some way shape or form a basis in reality, but simply uses a level of "Spiritual Energy" to explain how they do it since 1: Spiritual Energy does exist; 2: Spiritual Energy has enough power in it that it would take a whole planet to Equal the power of a Square Centimeter of Spiritual Energy.

And I was HOPING you'da noticed the absorbing part, but even so it would more or less be absorbed into your sword, since it's what's absorbing the energy for use of the Ice Techniques, using what energy is spent removing energy to create a Cycle spending the energy is absorbs to keep the area cool.

You're thinking power play, I'm thinking realistic to an extent.
