I dont know if anyone else noticed this or not but maybe a little thing should be added.When a shinigami doesnt have his zanpaktou equiped to themselves then when they attack someone then they will do less damage.This could kinda help with the sword breakedge thing.So you know that some shinigami might be just useless without there zanpaktou cause they cant destroy a hollow or someone without there sword.The way it works is that it could maybe take away a certain % from your max stats when it comes to defense and attack as well as maybe rei or if you dont like it that way,it could just take away the stats the instructor gave to u when you became a shinigami.
