Here's my view of a Squad System
1: Squad-Say, a must
2: Battle For Captainship: Teleports 2 players to a special arena, one being the captain, giving them a minute to prepare while locked in place. Players not participating can click on a Verb that pops up under "Commands" or "Squad" which has "Spectate Fight", which allows you to watch. (Idea borrowed from Bleach Unlimited, which borrowed it from countless sources, it's not exactly a rip). (Note: If a Captain Boots a person out just because they're a threat, they will be booted out of Squads entirely and thrown into the Ryoka Squad by a GM. GMs abusing this can be stripped of powers and/or banned.)
3: Squad Boot: For idiots who spam-challenge the captain more than 2 times a day, completely disrespect the captain in captain say, etc.
4: Squad Announce: Lets the Captain lead the squad.
5: Squad Leave/Join: Lets a player switch Squads (Renji did this 2-3 times).
6: Squad Boosts: Each Squad in the anime had a forte more or less. IE: Squad 11 Drops Rei Power Heavily, increases attack, or instead lowers rei power and increases attack speed. Squad 10 gives a +1 Speed boost, -1000 Attack and Rei power, Squad 4 Gives natural Regen, Squad 1 Gives Rei Boost (Referring to Old man yama) while in the squad.
7: There's a limit to the number of people allowed in Each Squad (Prevents people Stacking for a favorable boost) *Total of 10-15 members tops*
8: Squad List: Shows all the members in a squad, their levels, Stats, and Ranks in the Squad (Borrowed from Bleach Unlimited, used in many other games as well, thus an equal Rip).
9: Squad House Gives Faster Training On Dolls and Stronger Training, but inferior to a Menos in Training Speed. (Only works after level 30 and up to level 65, allows a Shini to catch up to Long Range Classes like Quincy which get long range attacks early).
10: Captain and Lieutenant have their own room, trying to enter the room as something other than that Squads Capt/Lieu, or another Squad Capt, requires "Knocking", in which a window pops up. If a player Spams the "Knock" verb, the Capt/Lieu can report it and get them banned from the game. (Freezes players until Verb is answered or they click the 'Cancel Knock" verb), in this Room the Captain and Lieu can Train on special Dolls ment just for them to Raise HP/Rei (not any other stat). Use of these logs by normal players kicks them out of the room.
11: Captains get +1k To all Stats, Lieus get +500, applied before all other boosts. These boosts are cancelled during challenges.
12: Captains get the "Make Lieutenant" verbs, and the Make Captain Verbs (for those who win, which is announced on OOC).
13: Ichigos cannot join a Gotei 13, but are immediately added to "Squad Ryoka", which gets no Real Boost. (Powerful Shi-bans that surpass all others normally would usually be here, like if we add Benihime with it's wanna-be Getsuga and Inoue shield)
14: Lieutenant Challenges: You can challenge Lieutenants Just like Captains, Same rules.
Complex, but effective.
Boost Ideas:
Squad 13: Increases the damage of Ice based Bankai OR Reiatsu Regen (Cancelled when you haven't mastered Shikai/Bankai form you're in).
Squad 12: increases potency of Status effects occuring
Squad 11: Increases Attack or Attack Speed (Suggestion)
Squad 10: increases movement speed by +1, -500 to Attack
Squad 9: Unknown (might add a Blind effect in the future?) (Or Can attack all squares around player for 1/2th damage, except if right in front).
IE:
2 = half, 1 = whole, presuming player is facing right.

Squad 8: Defense/Rei Def Boost (Only thing we know about the guy is he can tank...) (Might Give a Verb where Your Rei Power Triples, and your Defense Doubles, yet you can't use Kidou/Shikai and your attack's cut in half and can still attack normally)
Squad 7: Gains +400/800 to Attack and Defense. (I don't know, Stat Suggestion)
Squad 6: Increases Speed of Jiroubou and Byakuya Shikai/Bankai and increases attack/rei power of said. Increases number of movement of Renji Bankai by 10?
Squad 5: Increases Attack/Def/ReiP by +300/+600 each (Stat Suggestion)
Squad 4: Regen (About 2%-4% less than Bounto)
Squad 3: x1.5 To regular attacks.
Squad 2: 1% chance of inflicting poison/Stun/Paralyze with any attack?
Squad 1: x1.5 to Kidou Damage(Or increase ReiP by x1.5?)
FOR QUINCYS/OTHER RACES TO BALANCE:
Quincys only need a few new tricks, or at least less Hiryaku delay so they can move quicker (but be restricted to a certain set of rows and columns so they can't entirely dodge attacks)

HOrrible ASCII, but just saying they can only flash to say those areas there (Non-X). From what I saw Hiryraku was more of a Straight-Path and in one swift movement (based on when Ishida was riding through Garganta). Being able to move a good area but not just anywhere on screen would be a lot more effective, especially if they can Hirayaku faster (Which would allow for more realistic strafing).
The Key problem I noticed with Quincys was a lack of Speed, something that needs a speed boost. Ichigos can entirely outrun them.
Bounts however are already good in theory. Good Regen and high HP would make a GOOD bount player invincible, long as they didn't begin being a moron with their fighting.
Vaizard would lose their boosts from being a Shini Squad member of course, this would promote Ichigos true, but then again they'd get nothing really special (their masks do that).
We'll make up something for the Espada once we know what each Espada has going for him. We could make Aaronio's "Group" have the ability to gain more HP/Rei from Certain Hollows killed in exchange for a drop of 3k on all stats (Suggestion, due to the fact that they'd have superior HP means they can last in battle a lot longer. Their Releases also cancel out this lost more or less.)
For Grimmjow, I'm guessing more Cero Damage for bigger delay.
These are roughsketch ideas, purely based off theory.
Anyhow I would need time to think out the Espadas a bit better. They'd basically be the same thing as Squads, with Certain Numeros (PLayers not Espada) working under Certain Espada (maybe 5-6 tops per Espada).

Not really...if all the squad stuff is mainly says/who's leiu/cap, who's in what seat, and an announce...then the squad stuff should only have to calculate when seats change (which shouldn't be often unless your captain is a promotion junkee =P)
And the top two are winning which is a good sign >.>

Calculations included:
Generating a Squad-Sheet whenever someone uses the Squad list to view Squad info (Basically little trouble, we get mini-versions double clicking on players)
Boosts for Captain/Lieu position and squad (little trouble)
Changing of Capt/Lieu (A slightly bigger prob, not that big due to stat changes)
Etc etc
Ah...didnt think of those ones...but i don't think it'll lag any worse than it already does 0.o
but i like the idea about the boost but i dont like the decrease >_>
I think the decreases are to balancethe fact that the increase effects of some of these squads are so...rather than put it leetly, powerful

I only mentioned Cap/Lieu, but yeh it would rank the individual members based on Level into seats otherwise.
xD if we really wanted the seats, under the cap and lieutenant, there could be 10 primary seats and everyone else was "squad member"
