One of my fav games is World of Warcraft the oroiginal, and world of warcraft the burning Crusade

The game is pretty decent lil easy, Blizzard gave people what they wanted
Unlike Vanguard

World of warcraft is one of the top has pretty good classes i'll name them if you hadnt played it

Heres what I know about the different classes. Take it as you will:

Druid: They are decent at damage, and are spell casters. They have the best buffs(spells put on people to help them out.) They can transform into a bear to fight, a cat to run (and go invisible, and a mongoose to swim. From what I hear they are fun classes to play due to the all around-ness of them.

Hunter: A distance fighter. You can lay traps, run fast, and do a lot of other things. These are mostly ranged fighter and are only ok at hand to hand. You can train almost any beast to be your pet and run around with you.

Mage: Does the most damage per second. They are very deadly and kill things very quick. The only problem is they can only wear cloth armor, so if you get a few hits in on them, they are dead.

Paladin: Alliance only. They are a combination of warrior and healer. They are very hard to kill. A lot of players complain at their ability to shield themselves while they heal, but they are not impossible to kill.

Priest: Major healers. That is mostly what they are used for. Very good for groups, but not very good soloing at lower levels. There is also the shadow priest, which can have the most damage in a short amount of time.

Rogue: I think this would be the most fun to have a high level in. They are very high damage per second, and can stun people leaving them unable to do anything. They can turn invisible and walk by people, guards, etc. So sometimes they will show up in opposing factions cities and take out a few people then disappear never to be seen again. Kind of slow, when you turn invisible you go 50% of normal speed.

Shaman: They attack fast, do a lot of damage and can heal themselves and others. This is the Paladin counterpart for the horde. They can lie totems which add buffs to themselves and party members. They are hard to kill and do level fast. I feel that they have the best talent in the game called windfury which gives an extra two attacks.

Thats pretty much wow in a nutshell,

post if you disagree or agree that its pretty fun once you get to know the game

I had lots of fun playing WoW (60 Undead Rouge on Scarlet Crusade). The only reason I'm not playing it as much lately is that my CPU tends to be a bit unhappy now a days. It's overheating a lot, and I really don't feel like exploding it, or buying a new Heat sink/fan for it.

It'd prolly have been fun for me if it hadnt been for all the drama on my server lol, i might try it again on a diff server although it's prolly my chara but...i'm a lot more attached to EQ2 XD

Toran- 07-26-2007
Yeah in WoW you don't get so attached, since it's such a casual game.

Ryuuka- 07-26-2007
XD i'm a casual player on EVERYTHING tongue.gif my swashbuckler on eq2 is practically maxxed level until the new expansion comes out lol, on WoW i was using the trial at the time, but it was pretty fun minus the random-a$$ed pk's lol

Toran- 07-26-2007
I tend to play a bit much, On FFXI I got to max level in half the time my friends did (Sure it was still a year, but that's lower then the norm for that game). And the server I was on, on WoW wasn't PvP enabled all the time. Although I did enjoy pwning in the Battlegrounds, <3 ganking (Rogue)

Ryuuka- 07-26-2007
XD i got unlucky and was on when pvp WAS enabled...got slammed by level 50's in the newbie places lol. FFXI isnt bad, minus the fact that i lag like a mofo lol

I think the quicket i EVER maxxed on a game was on WoS by synthetic realty lol, i made 100 in less than a days time and nearly had another one (casters leveled slower than meele) in about 2 days

Toran- 07-26-2007
Yeah it sucks to be ganked as a lowbie. Especially when you don't have much money to fix your equipment T.T. FFXI is fine, I just got tired of it, in the high levels, one party last around 6-7 hours, and you gain...?! 1 LEVEL, hurray! Plus I was a support class (Red Mage) so I'll I really did was; Refresh the mages/Paladin tank... Debuff... Rinse and repeat... For 7 hours.

Ryuuka- 07-26-2007
XD i hate supporters, DPS/Tank hybrids for me all the way lol, built my swashy who's supposed to be a damage dealer to where she can crush ppl AND take about 5k hits b4 she dies (yeh, im a guy...but roleplaying as a girl is hilarious on my server, expecially a bloodthirsty treasure loving one)

My better charas tho have all been either half tanks or pure damage XD i LOVED my paladin on wow, same w/ mage and necro lol

MrPriest- 07-26-2007
The only support I like is a priest from WoW. 'cus it can do evil stuff like control a giant 'bot and kill other. I am trying out GW right now, though, only played for 20 mins, I don't like it so far, but I'll give it a chance untill I get to the PvP part.

Ryuuka- 07-26-2007
XD pure-pvp has never been my style really, GW is only good if you like instanced PVE and constant PvP

But yeah, priest is a good support, but all the subclassed priests on eq2 are HARD for me, constantly needing to heal...blech, gimmie a pair of daggers or fire magic anyday tongue.gif

MrPriest- 07-26-2007
I usually use Necros/Warlocks because I just think it's awsome to have an army o' doom in my hands. Or a huge wall of swords, even if they are pink.

You know, if Byakuya has broken his word and used all of the swords together, I don't know if Ogichi would have survived.

Ryuuka- 07-26-2007
XD i think that belongs in the "Battle of the Century" topic tongue.gif

anyways, yeah..damaging and taking hits is always better than healing...part of why hanataro is useless imo XD

He has Tensaiga >.>

be back later, off to my late boss' memorial :'(
